Rather than a boxed set for each season how about a set for each incarnation of the Doctor. A 1st Doctor set, a 2nd Doctor set, etc. Maybe combining the shorter lived incarnations (like the 9th) into one. Of course Tom Baker's incarnation might have to be split into two sets...

Of course Tom Baker's incarnation might have to be split into two sets... we weren't talking about a box set for each season, we were talking about a box set containing a season (in effect, an entire campaign) It was my understanding, from conversation with the C7 guys on their stall at Dragonmeet, that they were considering a box set/supplement for each 'classic' Doctor. Whether or not they ever run with that, I don't know.

The column that violated the NDA and got taken down (don't remember the website, but the author was the guy who wrote the Adventure Book) mentioned that the author was working on a Ninth Doctor box set at the time. A sign of things to come?
Also, having seen the Adventure Book that comes in the core box set, and learning that every supplement (or at least Aliens and Creatures and Defending the Earth) will have a similar book, I think I'm satisfied with those instead of the season box set.
Of course, I wouldn't be opposed to one of those coming out anyway…

I heard a rumor of an entire supplement devoted to the TARDIS... Allen That would be cool.

I heard a rumor of an entire supplement devoted to the TARDIS... Allen That would be cool. It shouldn't be a book. It should be a bloody great poster that you had to unfold quite a bit. It could come in a relatively small box that way, and would thus be bigger on the inside than on the outside. ;D

Hullo, Allen, I heard a rumor of an entire supplement devoted to the TARDIS... I find it interesting that C7 would consider doing a supplement devoted to TARDISES, but perhaps it's going to be devoted to time travel within the Doctor Who universe? There seem to have been a lot of species that used time travel in one capacity or another, and a supplement to cover them all plus add details on TARDISes would make sense.

I'd rather that supplements go by themes such as organizations or time periods or places rather than by Doctor as it's much easier for the general play to get what they want for a campaign by that manner.
Of course, there may just be a "Time Lord" or "Galifrey" supplement with all of the Doctors, Masters, and so forth statted out.
Then there may be a bundled "Companion" supplement or something with more elaborate character generation rules and additional Traits or something.
