when i do run a doctor who game i would like to use my grid/hex map but how would you do it the book dose not have much in the use of a grid map. it has the chase rules but that is about it . and on side a side note could run the game with just one person and have Npc timelord

Brief discussion here- dwaitas.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rules2&action=display&thread=482I thought there was a longer one. Oh well. Basically move 2 hexes for each co-oridination point. It's abstract, but then that's what the game is about anyway. Also - there's no reason a game needs a Time Lord. It's just one of the many possibilities for a game. You could in fact have outside forces moving the PCs around to different places if you want a travelling game.

^The entire time I watched the Primeval series I couldn't stop thinking what a perfect transition to RPG it would make.
