Disclaimer: I am no the first to think of this. I first heard this when listening to the Nerdist podcast. All credit to Matt Mira. The Nerdist is an excellent podcast with lot's of cool guests (Shameless plug).
Basically, it has come to my attention, and it's no that difficult to believe once you think about it, that James Bond is a Timelord. Here is my evidence:
1) Many incarnations (6 to be exact)
2) Lots of cool gadgets
3) Great strength, stamina and mental capabilities.
Compared to the Doctor:
1) While Bond seems to want to dominate every woman he meets, the Doctor has a very different perspective.
2) Both have a lust for adventure.
3) Both are Snazzy dressers.

I think you're stretching the meaning of the word 'snazzy'... Bond's a bit more tux & tie, where as the Doctor at his worst looks like he's been dragged backwards through a charity shop. Apart from that though, he could well be. Perhaps whoever he works for (not a huge Bond fan myself) has his TARDIS...
Or, and this is a little more out there, perhaps they're all Time Lords... After all, as far as I know someone else gives Bond his gadgets, so it might not just be him.

I think Bond's Tardis would probably be some sort of blacked-out-windows Limo. Also, I think that the reason Bond doesn't run away and the doctor hasn't found him is that Bond used the Chameleon Arch. Finally, CurtisJ...The fourth Doctor had an awesome scarf and hat, The tenth Doctor has an amazing coat, and the eleventh Doctor has a cool bow tie. I would qualify all of these as 'snazzy'.

I think that by the same token Hercule Poirot must be a renegade timelord too. The physical changes between Albert Finney and David Suchet were faily mild but Peter Ustinov was quite a transformation. Then again Miss Marple must be a timelady . This would also explain the changes in settings-1930s,1950s,1960s( Margaret Rutherford).

Nick Tilsley from Coronation Street has been played by at least 3 different actors. He must be one too. Gawd, they're everywhere!
