Hi All
I've just got this game, still reading through it but looks good so far, I love the layouts and pictures, makes it great for a fan of the show to really jump into it.
One thing i was wondering is, do Cubicle 7 hold the licence for the spin off shows. I'd love to see stuff like the 456, Weevils and the Resurrection Gauntlet from Torchwood and the Trickster and the Bane from Sarah Jane Adventures for use with DWAITS
I've just seen the first episode of the new K-9 series and the Jixon aliens are pretty cool, but with it being licenced by another company, i doubt that things from that show would make it into the game.

Which is why it's a good thing that many of our fellow forum members are so good at doing their own write-ups and posting them for us to see.

I believe that C7 have the licences for Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, and are looking at doing something with each of them.

I would imagine with the Sarah Janes Adventures and Torchwood being part of the Whoniverse that they would already be covered by the Doctor Who licence. Especially with Torchwood as that featured heavily in season 2 of Doctor Who
The best thing for Cubicle 7 to do is produce sourcebooks that cover both shows.

I think sourcebooks would be the wisest business decision. Releasing core rule books in their own right be testing the luck of C7. Best stick with the Dr WHO RPG and make them sourcebooks. Business-wise, it is the safest bet.

There is supposed to be an U.N.I.T. Sourcebook as well as era sourcebooks for all the classic Doctors in the pipeline. As Torchwood is in Doctor Who I see no reason why they cannot make a Torchwood sourcebook, although not sure about content from the Torchwood series. Same for Sarah Jane Adventures; I'm sure there is lots of small print in the contract which they are not allowed or inclined to reveal.
But it would be a start if C7 started getting sourcebooks out at a more regular rate. Lets get the annouced books out before thinking about anything else.
