(Or its sequel if you like.)
After the SF story of Alien, and the pseudo magical worlds of Neil Gaiman, our little Challenge series gives the Doctor a historical!
First: Which Doctor would you run through this movie's story? How would he interact with the world, where would he interfere, etc.? And lastly, anyone want to attempt some stats for the Virgin Queen, super-assassin Walsingham or 9th Doctor lookalike the Duke of Norfolk?

Ah, that kind of settles which Doctor it is then - if ever there is a chance of look-a-like farce, the BBC would jump at it (Androids of Tara and all that). I'd even go so far as to say pre-Rose would make a good story.

Hullo, Curufea, Ah, that kind of settles which Doctor it is then - if ever there is a chance of look-a-like farce, the BBC would jump at it (Androids of Tara and all that). I'd even go so far as to say pre-Rose would make a good story. Say what you will, but "The Androids of Tara" was a thoroughly enjoyable serial during the Key to Time story arc. Sure, it was a rip off of "The Prisoner of Zenda", but it had such style and panache to it, although the K9 moments in it were not my favourites. I dream of running a scenario a la Tara for my game these days but need to come up with a good enough plot to do it justice.

Yeah, it was cute. Farce <> bad Farce = comedy of improbable situations.

Since this is a write-up board, I really want to include a character from the film to use in the story. It's the point of having it here, really, so here goes!
ELIZABETH THE FIRST (young'n) Awareness 4 Coordination 2 Ingenuity 3 Presence 4 Resolve 5 Strength 2
Traits Adversary (Marie de Guise and other papal supporters) Argumentative Attractive Charming Friends (Walsingham) Indomitable Voice of Authority
Skills Athletics 2 Convince 4 Craft 2 Knowledge 3 Subterfuge 1
12 Story Points
What do you think?
