This is intended as a player mat. Player's can keep their story points right on the page in the "story points" area. In addition as they take damage, they can add damage tokens to the corresponding grey-coloured attribute area. The smaller white-coloured area with the attributes and story points is to record the starting values. For printing, you can get the pdf at docs.google.com/fileview?id=0BzOyx7_72aXJMWEwNzc5NGUtMTM4Zi00YTk5LWE5YzUtNTUxODEzMThkNGU0&hl=enNote that the pdf preview doesn't look great because all of the text has been converted to outlines. Trust me, it will print great. Enjoy.

Wow. That thing is awesomely pretty. Here, have some karma Not sure I'd use it myself, as I'm a fan of very plain very functional traditional A4/US letter portrait character sheets (with, OK, a little bit of aesthetic appeal if absolutely necessary ) but I can see a lot of people having a lot of fun with it.

Nice! A different style than I was thinking of though, so I'll still have a go at it. When I get time from converting the Rassilon, Omega and the Other Guy website into XML.

Version 2.0 Printable PDF at docs.google.com/fileview?id=0BzOyx7_72aXJYjliYWM2ODQtZGMzMS00NjVlLWIzN2EtNmNlZWMwNzMxMjUz&hl=enUpdate includes slight reorganization. Now includes room for background info. Big innovation is the "Success Bar" at the bottom. The Success Bar works as a slide rule along side a regular ruler marked with centimetres. You set your target on the ruler at the spot marked in the middle of the success bar, and then read the number you achieved off of the ruler to see what your result is. Also marked on the bar is the bands which you can spend Story Points to move from to... ie From Disaster to Bad, Bad to Failure, or Failure to Success. When printing make sure you do not allow the PDF program to resize the image, as then the Success Bar will no longer be tuned to centimetres and will give false readings. Update: Also in the works is a strip that can be attached to a ruler that contains the difficulty info and other useful titbits. Updated to point out the the story point markers on the success bar.

This replaces ( Actual total - target number = Success number, now look that up on the success chart) I also tried to make it look good on the page, so that even if you don't want to use it, you hopefully don't mind the look of it on your page. As always to each their own.

This replaces ( Actual total - target number = Success number, now look that up on the success chart) I've got a little success chart of my own, matching the style of the sheet I'm doing: (It only looks huge and blue 'cos it's 200dpi and transparent, ready to be slotted into Scribus - If anything I'm worried it might be too small ) I think it's a little clearer, mainly 'cos it has the numbers instead of left to right ticks. It's not as drop dead gorgeous as yours, though. I am very envious of your artistic ability...

It's really cool looking, and definitely deserving of some karma (unfortunately I can't seem to give you any, I guess because I've awarded karma on the site recently already).
Like Kaemaril though, I doubt I'd be using it myself, as I also prefer the more traditional A4 character sheet style.

FYI, this character sheet was designed for US Letter, Landscape, but should work fine on A4 landscape as well. (I wish Canada would adopt the A4, etc paper standard, as it is much nicer to design for!) Here is a version that doesn't use the boxes around the skills, and opens up the middle. Thoughts?

This latest "no box" version is wonderful. The whitespace really helps, it doesn't look as busy as it did before. This is really sharp!

Haha no. By "close" I mean in my own mind. My favorite is the one before last.

Can we have a link to the most recent version? It's amazing, I have no idea how I'll decide which character sheet I want to use.

Hmm, as a player mat - it may be worthwhile getting some printed as such at Cafepress, Artscow or one of the other print-on-demand website in some kind of plastic coated manner. That way you can draw on them with overhead projector pens, and they can double as coasters if need be

True - you could also edit the file before having it professionally printed.
It could be a player reward for something - either good roleplaying, character background, regular attendance or a character diary (I've always liked the in-game mechanic in Amber that encourages creation of a character diary).

This is lovely work. Really lovely. Do you mind if I did a colour version that nobody would ever print. just because I like your design so much and fancy doing one? Incidentally, if you ever want to host something as lovely as that on an RPG site, I'd be happy to post it on mine. I'll probably be re-doing it with a Doctor Who section in the near future. (I hope) K.
