New Kind of Star burns carbon

Ok, maybe not NEW, but certainly newly discovered. The idea is that there is a class of dwarf stars that have absolutely no helium or hydrogen in their atmospheres, but instead have a carbon based one... possibly with a core of oxygen, magnesium, and neon ash.

Weird AND cool.
