it looks like maybe something might be missing from the Gadget rules. The text says major gadgets can hold 2 Story Points...but the Sonic Screwdriver can hold 4. It only COSTS 2 though.
I think I know what's going on...I seem to recall from the playtest that a gadget can store a number of story points equal to the number of Good Traits that it has...thus the Sonic Screwdriver, having 4 Good Traits, can store 4 Story Points. But I cannot find this anywhere in the actual rules themselves.

Y'know, I noticed that in my first game. The issue is complicated by the fact that the Story Points shown on the cards looks like the cost to buy rather than the amount the gadget holds, which would make more sense to me... unless it's just that the Vortex Manipulator that is different to the others, because that shows 10 SP on the card. For all the others the type (minor or major) results in the same amount for the cost and the held Story Points. So yeah, it's probably the Manipulator that's indirectly confusing the issue with the cards. Glad we cleared that up Anyway, yes, the description for how to stat up the Screwdriver doesn't match the rest of the rules. There aren't any relating Good Traits to how many SP you get. There is a section in the book (p67-68, GM) that talks about it but the Screwdriver description on p68 does mention 4 SP as Allen says. So what's the what?
