With the 12th Doctor's era drawing to a close, I thought it would be timely to start a thread listing the extracanonical stories for his era. In fact, it's a surprisingly short list, though I guess there may still be a few releases as yet unannounced:
BIG FINISH AUDIOS The Charge of the Night Brigade War Wounds Distant Voices Field Trip Timejacked!: Flight to Calandra Timejacked!: Split Second Timejacked!: The Weight of History Emancipation of the Daleks
BBC AUDIOS The Gods of Winter The House of Winter The Sins of Winter The Memory of Winter The Lost Angel The Lost Planet The Lost Magic The Lost Flame Death Among the Stars Rhythm of Destruction The Nightmare Realm The Ice Kings Four From Doom’s Day: Dark Space The Cuckoo
BBC NEW SERIES ADVENTURES (NOVELS) The Blood Cell Silhouette The Crawling Terror The Glamour Chronicles: Royal Blood The Glamour Chronicles: Big Bang Generation The Glamour Chronicles: Deep Time Diamond Dogs Plague City The Shining Man The Cradle: A 1970s Story
CHOOSE THE FUTURE GAMEBOOKS Night of the Kraken Terror Moon
OPTIONAL: COMICS, SHORT STORIES, MISC. Lego Dimensions (for the Off-Off Canon section perhaps?) Comic strips: extracanonical companions Hattie Munroe (from Titan Comics), Jess Collins (from DWM) and Jata (from DWA) plus the older 12th Doctor from Four Doctors at the very least Short Stories: a number of anthologies include 12th Doctor stories, including The Scientific Secrets of Doctor Who, Twelve Doctors of Christmas, The American Adventures, Tales of Terror and others Material from the Doctor Who Annuals
Did I forget anything?

I listened to them all shortly after each was released - and I'm afraid to say I can't remember much about them. I don't think any were particularly terrible, but being unmemorable they probably weren't outstanding either.

I hope the likes of the Hyperion and the Lady of Neverness end up in here. Of course, let me not get ahead of myself. There are still plenty of wonderful Expanded Universe Sourcebooks to come.

misterharry , I hope to see stats for Jess Collins' family and friends (introduced to help fill the gap until the 2016 Christmas Special, and helped to ease the wait for a little while until Pearl Mackie was revealed as the new companion) from DWM 501-511. You should also think about providing adventure seeds for things to do in Brixton, London during 1972. I actually also want to run a similar adventure in my Kanya Campaign where Kanya goes through a sort-of 'The Lodger' episode where her TARDIS disappears with her companion still onboard and is forced to take up residence with a college student as a roommate until her TARDIS returns.

Jess Collins and the Hyperion are already on my list for this one, and Jess's family are more than likely to be included as they're recurring characters. The Lady of Neverness is an odd one though - the strip she features in was in one of the San Diego exclusive comics, and I'm usually wary of things which are so niche that most people won't have had the opportunity to read the original stories (for example, I've so far avoided anything from the Big Finish bonus short trips, which are only sent to subscribers). Has the story been reprinted for a wider audience anywhere? I do have a copy of the comic, so I can include her if so. And to be honest, at this point the Capaldi volume looks like it'll be very slim, so a chance to add new content is welcome! As for adventure seeds, they're included when there's space in the layout, so we'll have to see on that one - maybe we'll include a location entry for Brixton in the 1970s, with some seeds. But there are still several other sourcebooks to write before we start looking at the 12th Doctor in earnest.

You know, I’m not sure if it has been reprinted to be fair. Rather odd that, but oh well. These things happen. Still you can’t go wrong with the Hyperions! It’s rather a shame there haven’t been that many new aliens for the Twelfth Doctor, but at least with the likes of the Fractures, the Saprophytes and the Shamblers you have some memorable additions.
And of course by no means are we trying to hurry you, I personally think half of the fun is speculating what you all will spring on us next in upcoming volumes.

I kinda figured we'd be here a while before we got to the modern doctors. I'm just trying to help you out here in advance. Also, @toymaker66 , I actually have the Doorway to Hell Collection better known as the Collected Twelfth Doctor Comic Strips Volume 3. It came out recently in the US and from what I could find, it seems that one version was released on November of 2017.

We may find that once we're out of the MASSIVE 7th-8th eras, getting through the modern Doctors will fly by relatively quickly.

We may find that once we're out of the MASSIVE 7th-8th eras, getting through the modern Doctors will fly by relatively quickly. That time is drawing ever closer, especially considering the pace the 6th doctor book is taking shape. Is the plan still to do 2 separate books for each doctor? Either way I'll certainly be looking forward to it and hopefully I'll have a chance to contribute soon enough

Yes. And probably work on both concurrently. I don't know yet. My vote would be consecutively as it would allow us to complete one volume quicker than if we were dealing with them both concurrently (and I also prefer dealing with less monumental chunks!). But no problem if you decide otherwise.

I often find Paul Hanley's art of each of the incarnations of the Doctor with their companions helpful in tracking down some of the more obscure companions for inclusion in the expanded universe sourcebooks, and he's just released his version of the 12th Doctor's friends: I think I've identified most of the people in this picture, but a few elude me or are too small to see properly (and there are one or two companions from the comics and audios who I think may be missing). Anyone recognise either of the two in the top left (I thought the one on the left might Hattie Munroe from Titan Comics, but I'm not sure)? Or the person to the left of Santa Claus?

Right, I think I've identified most of these now, but there's still one that eludes me:
Back row, left to right:
Hattie Munroe (from Titan Comics) No idea - I feel like it should be obvious (she's wearing what looks like a Time Lord military uniform) Grant/The Ghost (The Return of Doctor Mysterio) Madame Vastra Jenny Flint Strax The 1st Doctor Julie D'Aubigny (from Titan Comics) Captain Lethbridge-Stewart (Twice Upon a Time) Ohila (The Magician's Apprentice/Hell Bent) Bors (The Magician's Apprentice) The Cyberman is presumably the converted Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (from Death in Heaven) Standing in front of the Cyberman is Jess Collins (from DWM) Rigsy (Flatline/Face the Raven) Santa Claus (Last Christmas) Miss Quill (from Class)
Front row, left to right:
Missy Not a good likeness, but I think that's supposed to be Danny Pink Clara Me River Song Bernice Summerfield (guested in the novel The Big Bang Generation) Nardole Bill Potts The 12th Doctor Courtney Woods Osgood and her Zygon double Kate Stewart (and in front of her on the TARDIS console is Mr Huffle, the soft toy from The Return of Doctor Mysterio) Jata (from DWA)

What is that ghostly cartoon character at Me's feet? LOL! That flummoxed me too for a while. But I think it's a watermark Paul Hanley puts on some of his work. So it's not a companion!

Isn't the woman wearing the Time Lord military uniform Jenny from the Doctor's Daughter? I believe she made a re appearance in one of the event comics they did recently.

What is that ghostly cartoon character at Me's feet? It's supposed to be Graham Norton. Paul Hanley started adding that watermark on his art after too many of his pieces ended up on those art thief merch sites. BTW: In front of Mr. Huffle are the Doctor's companions from LEGO Doctor Who

Incidentally, anyone know if there were any new companions introduced in Lego Dimensions? It was Gandalf, Batman and Wildstyle (From the Lego Movie) in the main game and even then they weren't really companions. Twelve only appeared in the cut-scenes at the beginning and end of the level in the main game IIRC. The level pack was Twelve on his own. Though, I suppose K-9 counts... It was mostly Twelve on his own, with K-9.

Should we add CLASS to the Extracanonical Capaldi? That crossed my mind too, particularly as the 12th Doctor sourcebook is likely to be a short one (due to very few audios and books having been released for him). Though the plan for the other shows like Torchwood and SJA is to cover them in the spin-off sourcebooks after we finish with the Doctors, so it's Siskoid's call.

I'm guessing the smiley face would be because you were thinking of me. As flattered as I am, I have to admit that I think it would have to be a team effort to do since I don't have a google account, and because I'm not sure how to make a PDF or how I would even stat the LEGO Vehicles and LEGO Versions of the characters. I can tell you the backstories of them (at least from the LEGO Dimensions Version, anyway), but I think it'd have to be a team effort to make it work.

OK. I understand. I should've also mentioned that I'm dealing with a lot myself right now (quite frankly, it's amazing that I got two more adventures in my own ongoing DWAITAS Campaign in this Sunday along with the viewing of The Woman Who Fell to Earth, but I agree that I think a LEGO Dimensions Sourcebook would work quite well. It's just that due to time, and the fact that I don't have access to making Google Docs, that I think if someone else were to start it up, I could contribute a little afterwards.
