Hello again!
As I'm using a third (and original) regeneration of Romana in my own game, it struck me I hadn't thought about what kind of TARDIS she may have. It's generally agreed upon she became President of Gallifrey (at least until the Time War) but after that, did she have access to the later models, or like her somewhat mentor, did she prefer the older models?
Curious as to your thoughts!

At the time of 5th Doctor the Presidential TARDIS was a Type 53 [so fairly out of date as the Type 70s had been released decades ago by that point]. I assume this Type 53 was considered to be a 'classic' used by every President for symbolic reasons.
By the time the Time War started the Type 89 was the last non-battle TARDIS design that was still in production [though older models might still be in use].
Romana seemed to view older TARDISes with disdain so she probably would have a newer model. The Type 53 seemed to part of the Presidency, so - after leaving office - she would likely find that the only traditional TARDISes that were easily available were the Type 89s. Of course she might also have a War TARDIS of some sort [Type 90 - 105].

She seemed fairly unsentimental about TARDISes, so she probably would have "traded up" to the most recent model available.

Thanks for all the information....I was heading in that general direction as it was, but this is a great confirmation, thank you.

I have no canonical information to offer, but as a character Romana has always been a great deal more pragmatic and less sentimental than the Doctor. I cannot imagine that she'd have anything other than a modern and well-maintained TARDIS. And it will be kept a lot tidier than the Doctor's, too!

Bit late but I'll toss this in there for consideration if anyone else is looking. Romana was quite willing to treat Compassion (human who became the 102) as a resource not only being involved in the plot to turn her from a human into a TARDIS but then viewed her as time lord property to be contained and bred for the 103's regardless of her views on the subject (Interestingly the doctor in that novel isn't immune to time lord arrogrance either. Hurting Compassion for her own good and forcing a randomizer on her without even trying to talk to her first).. Add in how she talked about the doctors when she first came on board and I can't see her viewing a TARDIS as anything other than a vehicle to be swapped out for the newest and best version around if only because it gives her the most options in ensuring the survival of Gallifrey. She might use an older model if she had a specific reason for it but generally newer is better in terms of security and options to promote Gallifrey's interests.
