I've been brainstorming a few adventure ideas for a Season 1 in the (sadly very rare) event that I can get a group together to play and I was wondering if these would make for good adventures once they're fleshed out a bit more. The numbered entries are ones I've decided the order I want them to happen in. This campaign was made in the mindset of a universe where the Doctor died ending the Time War, with a new Time Lord who escaped taking his place. 1.New Metal: The Time Lord and companion(s) meet and must stop a Cyberman threat at a concert. (I know, a bit silly, but I thought it might be fun.) 2.Gold within Evil (Don't have a good title for this one.): The TARDIS crew must work with a race called the Gavanchi (A custom race of mine who are based around the saying, "If you want peace, prepare for war.") to protect a Krillitane who has defected amidst a war between the two races (He agrees with the peace-seeking ways of the Gavanchi and wishes to incoporate Gavanchi DNA into himself. He was a high-ranking officer of the Krillitane and they wish to kill him in order to preserve their secrets.) Assault from Marinus: The TARDIS crew must stop a Voord invasion of Earth that is brewing in a naval base in the 1940s. The Voord have come in search of the Doctor, ready to take revenge on their old enemy, not aware that he has died. Haywire: The TARDIS crew find themselves on a human exploratory ship in the future and must assist the crew when something goes wrong with their Mechanoid assistants. 5.Fuel War: The TARDIS crew land back on Earth to refuel and must defend the planet from the Recleons, a race who use specialized weapons to turn things into a substance that is both food for them and fuel for their starships. 12.End of the Future/13.Resurgence of the Daleks: The TARDIS crew assist the members of the first major human expedition into space discover what has happened to their ship and in doing so discovers that the Time War had more survivors..... So I'm simply looking for tips, thoughts and suggestions. Thanks in advance .

Firstly my apologies for any formatting problems as I'm using my phone.
1. A concert is an interesting setting, not much used in Who. With people perhaps coming from a wide area it's not a bad location for harvesting a few humans. Lots of chaos, noise and people milling around getting in the way.
2. Interesting idea, lots of scope for doubting the defector's motivations and different factiona having different visions of HQ to use his skills.
3. There is very little canon background on the Voord so you can develop your own idea of their society. Plus there's the possibilities of experimental WW2 diving gear and mini-subs.
4. Fairly generic as is.
5. This reminds me a bit of the Axons. You could have the antagonists steal the vulnerable TARDIS and escape with it, forcing the party to 'acquire' a spaceship (UNIT? Mr Copper? Ace? Jimmy?) to pursue them.
12. A near-ish future setting, maybe with a ship using recovered or reverse engineered (and not quite understood) alien tech.
Hope this helps.

Talk to your players and explore their character's backgrounds. See if you can use any ideas spun off background details to add interesting bits to your adventures or to come up with new ones.
How about an adventure where the Companions learn something about the new Timelord? What did he/she do during the Time War? What did they do before the War? How did they escape? What was their status/position/profession back on Gallifrey? Were they a renegade like the Doctor and the Master or an establishment Time Lord? If they travelled before, what if they revisit a planet the Timelord has been before?
What about a two part adventure where they go to the same planet or location in more than one time period. The interesting thing is how life and the location changes over time. What effects have the time travellers actions made on the place?
I thought of a tidbit to add to the New Metal Cybermen adventure. What about having a sonic-based lifeform as a red herring? The players find out about it and assume it is behind the troubles and then have to team up with it against the Cybermen?
Adventure #2 title idea "Fool's Gold"
In Haywire, what if the Players run into the 1st Doctor's companion Steven when he was still an astronaut and before he was stranded?

Hi there, SoulDragon298! I really liked your "New Metal" adventure idea, and expanded it into a scenario seed. It's posted here. I hope you like it, and thanks for the opportunity to stretch my creative muscles.

Had an idea for another scenario. Probably wouldn't be in my season 1, most likely it'd be in season 2.
Legacy of Steel: Many years after the Cyber-Wars, a museum dedicated to chronicling them opens, including exhibits on the different versions of the Cybermen. Opening day does not go smoothly however, as a group of surviving Cybermen (the type seen in Nightmare in Silver), low on power and desperate to replenish their crew, attack the museum, hoping to scavenge both old and new cyber-converters and other pieces of technology so that they can fix their ship and convert the museum attendants to acquire more crew.
Can you tell who my favorite recurring villains are? XD

Can you tell who my favorite recurring villains are? XD Reminds me of a couple of adventures that Big Finish have done, "Deimos" and "The Resurrection of Mars". It has a similar premise to your adventure but with the Ice Warriors instead of Cybermen and they were fighting over this terraforming ray that would make Mars habitable again at the expense of killing all the colonists on the planet. A fine adventure in itself what made it interesting was some subplots coming to the forefront and adding a lot of complications (which I won't spoil unless you ask)
For Cybermen it would probably work a bit better but I would suggest using a character the from previous adventures to cause some complications. For example if they said goodbye to someone on present day earth and they ended up here, there's probably a lot of explaining that needs doing.
Ultimately in my experience the bar for stories in RPGs are a bit lower than in the show (or other mediums) because what's most important is everyone at the table having a good time. I ran an adventure with a psychotic psychic space butterfly puppet that shouted "Of DOOM!!" at the end of most of her sentences. It wasn't exactly high art but it did the job and we had a good time

The Voord have come in search of the Doctor, ready to take revenge on their old enemy, not aware that he has died. I like it. I'm a sucker for the underused Doctor Who aliens, and the Voord are about as underused as they come. Them in a WWII era setting could be interesting.

I also came up with the idea that the Voord could be turning the crew into more Voord by putting them through their initiation process.
Alas, dunno if I'll ever run these adventures as it seems hard to find games and players of DWAITAS on Roll20. I was part of a game but it seems to have folded, far as I can tell.
