Grand Theft TARDIS is the adventures of The Doctor's daughter Jenny Smith and her motley band of companions. We don't play all that often, usually around twice a year (I always try to at least run a special in December, most of the time we are playing other RPGs (I am not the regular GM for the group)
The group lives in their TARDIS now but always seem to bounce back and forth to Indianapolis IN. That is where they found and stole the TARDIS. It had disguised itself as an abandoned warehouse in downtown Indianapolis. The more they travel in it, the more they think it is actually Jenny's TARDIS.
The characters are
PCs Jenny Smith – Time Lord Dr Cornelius Constance – 19th century Scientician Third Echelon Sub Captain Skala of the Fifth Solar Invasion Fleet - Sontaran Bart - An alien golden retriever from the planet Xylanthia, former commander of the Xylanthia recon group.
We have two new players that should be making characters soon.
NPC loaner characters for if we have a guest player that session Ada Mosberg - 1980s German punk girl who helped the group free her village from The Golems during the Hanukkah special I ran in 2015. She decided to stick around with the group and see the Universe.
I will write up more as I think about it I just wanted to jot some things down in here and get it started. We have been playing for about three years now. I will probably just start my write ups at this year's Christmas Special where they will face the Weeping Angels in some form (hopefully none of my players read this).

A punk? A Sontaran? And an alien golden retriever? Now that's a motley band of adventurers! This sounds like it's a lot of fun.

The Rapture, 2016 Christmas adventure
Jenny Smith – Time Lord Doctor Cornelius Constance – 19th century Scientician Bart - An alien golden retriever from the planet Xylanthia.
The TARDIS crew was en route to fun Christmastime frivolity on some strange planet when all the sudden the Cloister bell starts chiming and the sensors go off the charts with artron activity. This throws them out of the time track and the TARDIS lands with a thud. Scanners indicate that it is the year 2020, Monday the 21st of December, Earth, Unites States, Indianapolis, IN. You are on Monument Circle. You open the door and the circle is bathed in multi colored lights as the monument above you is decorated as a large Christmas tree. Look back and notice that the chameleon circuit has disguised the TARDIS as one of the statures. Across the street from the you is the Christ Church Cathedral Episcopal Church. There is a sign advertising the upcoming Christmas service. With the message “The Rapture is upon us! Rejoice!”.
Jenny immediately feels that there is something “off” about the church and the group decides to investigate. They enter the church just as the evening service is letting out, people are filing into the fellowship hall for coffee, cookies, and gossip. Cornelius notices a bulletin board captioned “Those who have been Raptured” with the names and pictures of 43 people including the former Bishop of the church, Marcus Froman. He files this away in his photographic memory and moves on. Below the board there is a schedule of rapture times. Doctor Constance shrugs and quips that he is not familiar with the concept of scheduling the rapture, must be some new future church mumbo-jumbo.
They chat up the rather gruff dean of the church, Dean David Stone for a little while, Jenny is rather charismatic and can get info out of almost anyone. They find out that there are multiple church services a day and each one ends with the new leader of the church, Vicar Judy Pertmore, announcing the next two people to be raptured. The names just come to her. The chosen are sent to the basement and into the catacombs beneath the church to the crypt of the founder. This is where the rapture happens. They group all finds it rather odd that the rapture happens underground so they decide to take their leave of the dean and decide to go snoop around the church.
The group start sneaking their way around looking for the basement. First they decide to check out the Vicar’s office. It is locked but nothing Doctor Constance’s sonic screwdriver can’t handle. They find nothing of any real value in there except for Bart finding grains of sand all over the office. Weird, but meaningless at the moment. Next the hit the former Bishop’s office. No sand in here. It appears as though it has not been touched. They find a hidden compartment in the wall that contains a note from 18885 warning whoever finds the note to not trust the Vicar and to watch out for the statues. “They look like angels but they are the devil himself. If you encounter them do not look away for that is when they strike!”
Following Bart’s keen nose they eventually make their way into the basement and onto the catacombs. There are random burial niches set into the walls each with a name plaque. Doctor Constance starts matching up the names with the names he saw on the rapture board. With a quick scan they found out that the bodies were at least 100 years old and seemed to have died of natural causes. In one of the niches they also found a journal detailing that the members of the church are being sent back in time somehow and that Judy Pertmore is working for the statues. They are putting them to work digging tunnels underneath the city looking for something. In the last entry he thinks they found it. There is some sort of glowing chamber and they are now dragging desiccated statues into the catacombs.
Making their way to the Founder’s tomb they are greeted by two stone angel statues. The group decides it would be in their best interest to run as the lights in the catacombs, including the flashlights in their hands, start going out. A chase ensues and the group makes it up the stairs before anything happens.
The plan is to hop in the TARDIS and go back to the date found in the journal but the TARDIS is fickle and they wind up in the Crustaceous period. A little percussive maintenance on the console and they eventually make their destination, December 21st 1885.
A small altercation ensues with the burly men guarding the entrance to the church but they eventually make their way into the catacombs. There are more angel statues this time but there are too many eyes upon them as there are roughly 3 dozen people toiling away digging and lugging other statues around. They make their way to the glowing room. It is a space / time rift. The statues seem to be feeding off of the artron energy it is producing. Splitting up they desperately search for Bishop Froman and eventually find him. They drag him back to the TARDIS ignoring his fascination at it being “bigger on the inside” and pilot the craft (with a liberal use of story points) into the center of the rift causing an explosion of blue light as it slams itself shut. The resulting paradox fixes everything the Angels worked so hard to accomplish and everything is right in the world. They group unceremoniously dumps the Bishop back at his church and set off for destinations unknown.
