It appears that, two years after the discovery of HMS Erebus, the second ship of the ill-fated Franklin expedition has been found in Terror Bay of King William Island. And in excellent condition too. The discovery alters the narrative of what happened to the explorers; instead of the the men abandoning both ships near the north end of Victoria Strait and attempting to walk out of the Arctic, it now appears that at least some of them reboarded the vessels and tried to sail south. The theory is that the remaining Terror crew eventually scuttled it intentionally, then boarded the Erebus, which made it another 50 miles south.

Interesting wonder why they scuttled it, lots of plot possibilities there. Thanks for sharing.

There was a Call of Cthulhu campaign centered around the search for these ships. *ponders going back and rereading it to see if it can be modified for DWAITAS...*

I'd suggest switching the magic for psi and alien artefacts and the Mythos elements for extra-dimensional aliens. I might have a go at a conversion over the holidays.
