Can somebody recommend a two-hour introductory adventure for Doctor Who--either one for purchase or one of the fan-produced ones here?
I have volunteered to run a session at a local Doctor Who convention, but since this isn't strictly a gaming convention, I want to keep it short (thus, under two hours) and open to beginners. I know there's a good scenario in the rulebook that would probably fit the bill, but I would prefer to run something different, in case some of my players want to run the introductory adventure later.
On a related note, if I bought one of Cubicle 7's published adventures, would there be any problem with me running that scenario at a convention where people are paying to attend? If it makes a difference, the convention is strictly non-profit.

Arrowdown can be played pretty quickly and is free to download. I'm not aware of any specific C7 policy on convention use (some of there staff do hang out here though) and I can find nothing on their website regarding this. That said I'd be very surprised if they had any objection to it's use at a con, given the potential for goodwill and publicity.

I wrote an adventure that works as an introduction to the game/world. Not sure about two hours - you might have to cut some of the NPCs a bit, but that's easy enough to do. If you're interested in having your players meet up with (and possibly fight) Frank Sinatra at the height of the Rat Pack era, Games of Chance might be just the ticket.
