So, I'm going to be using her in a campaign I'm running. Very curious to see what people's takes are on her stats, especially as we'd have four different versions; Ashildr the Viking girl, The Highwayman, Mayor of Trap Street, and Me In The Ruins of Gallifrey. Anyone have thoughts?
Hmm, I've also been musing on Ashildr. My take is that there's a cap on her skills, in terms of accumulated points, as her brain only his limited capacity. So by the modern day she's forgotten a lot of historical details, or 'archived' them to her diaries. Maybe in the future she has some technological assistance on this front (brain implant perhaps?) unless this is incompatible with the nanotech keeping her alive.
ETA: The book Legends Of Ashildr is out today, maybe I'll have a look at that before I try.
Judging by her capabilities in The Woman Who Lived, Ashildr can acquire very high levels of skill in physical tasks, where beyond a certain point memory has little application, but she can't necessarily remember how she learned what she knows. Purely knowledge based skills are likely to fade rapidly once she lives into an era in which the knowledge is largely obsolete.
