The Online Character Maker seems to have stopped working

This seems like the perfect opportunity for someone to step and make a new one with the updated traits list, an ability to add custom traits, a minimalist interface and complete lack of sound (because the old one was incredibly loud).   

Now, I have no idea how to make any of this and now clue where to start. Do any of you have any experience making web apps or android apps?

Oh, no! I'm so disappointed to hear this. The online character sheet was an immensely useful tool.

It really was! It helped take all the math out of making the characters. I don't know how many times I've just slapped "Animal Friendship" in as a trait in place of Crack Shot.

There was! It was a wonderful tool, beautifully designed, that allowed you to design a DWAITAS character sheet by selecting all of the requisite attributes, skills, and traits, keeping track of points all the way. After designing a character on paper, I'd always run the numbers through the online character creator to verify my calculations.

It was definitely wonderful, but I wouldn't call it beautifully designed. The doctor who intro on a loop at full volume was always a nice surprise. And the ads were kind of awful, thank Rassilon for uBlock Origin. I used the sheet pretty much the same way you did Hedgewick. It was the best way to check my math

yes it stopped working some time ago but there is a program called hero lab and one of the uses on here
made a add on for making doctor who cahcters you do have to pay 30$ for the programe and then 10 or 20$
for the pulgin to use homemade addons but the same pulg in lets you make add on's to also sourprots many other games and has some good home made addons

That is $50 more then I want to pay... I could justify giving donations in the $1-5 range to whomever made us a new generator or even having ads on the site (just hopefully banner ads instead of that horrible bouncing set the last generator had).     

Oh well, time to learn how to make android apps I guess. Something generic looking with a material design would work nicely for this.

Holy cow! That's expensive!

I had stumbled onto the online character generator before. It was okay, but characters are fairly easy to create with this rpg. I never used it for a game. However, i'd love to see something a little more functional and cheaper than what is mentioned above.

i might be wrong on the price of the add on but it is a good programe i found a star wars d6 chacter add on it is a pricy programe but usefule free things are good when they can be found

the only thing i realized with the Generator is that there is limited space on the back ( where it gives you the description of your traits)   it only goes down to the top of the TARDIS and no further ..
 but all in all i love it
