I uploaded a MASSIVELY improved version of my “Rassilon Omega and that Other Guy” Website. There is 130,000 words of new material (a 66% increase from the 2008 version of the site). As always, it includes pretty much everything about the Time Lords from the TV series, novels, audios, comics and other spin-off material up through this last year. And, as always, everything is color coded so you know how reliable each bit is. So pop on over to... www.meshyfish.com/~roo/And check the world’s greatest resource on Time Lord history, culture, and biology! Let me know if you have any questions.

That is fantastic!
... Out of curiosity, why isn't there a colour/code for the Big Finish Audios?

I started the site before Big Finish was doing Dr Who audios, so the coding was created before the audios were. Then Big Finish spent the first few years making sure their audios were tied into the novel line with direct references to the events of the books. So it all seemed like one big integrated continuity [like much of Star Wars EU used to be]. At that point, giving them them the same color/canocity level seemed to make sense.
By the time Big Finish started ignoring the novels/TV series and [sort of] struck out on their own, the idea going back and unpicking the continuity on the website was just more work then I felt like doing.
There was also the question of 'which got to be orange'? The audios have the actual actors reprising their roles so does that make it more 'official'? But the novels do a MUCH better job of fitting in with the continuity of the TV show whereas Big Finish has turned into something like the old DWM comics where they just seemed to be loosely inspired by the TV show.
Fortunately, the franchise has one massive totally official continuity reset to help smoothing things over. In "The Ancestor Cell" you get the Bottle Universe Timeline [which included, among other things, the Virgin book line] being released into the Classic Timeline [which included the BBC novels up until that point] to create a new THIRD Hybrid Timeline that appears to have the stories of both timelines but many have been tweaked or [as in the case of Human Nature] drastically altered. The website is an exercise in trying envision what that that new Hybrid Timeline now looks like.
[of course such contamination could have occurred many more times during the Time War, but three timelines seem sufficient to hold almost any Dr Who story you care to mention.]

Just having them listed under the orange section would be nice. Thank you Marnal.

Oh I see! Sorry. Weird - it used to mention the audios in the key. Not sure what happened. I probably made some change to the key and just copy pasted that key to every page [and somehow that had the audios reference dd deleted]. I'll try to get it fixed today!
