Just a heads up, I'm currently working on an XML version of the character sheet.
Primarily so a database of characters can be easily created and presented (and/or exported if a character designer is made).

Okay, now done, but I may have to fiddle with it to have more error checking depending on what uses people put it too. Anyhow, you can find an example here- www.curufea.com/Wikka/uploads/FactionDW/character.xmlThe source for this page is- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="drwho.xsl"?> <character> <name>Charles-Geneviève-Louis-Auguste-André-Timothée d'Éon de Beaumont, Chevalier d'Eon.</name> <player /> <creator>Cousin Null</creator> <image>http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/buffy/images/thumb/6/6d/WillowRosenberg.jpg/225px-WillowRosenberg.jpg/im%3Cbr/%3E%3Cbr/%3EDerek%20Cole%20-%20Unexpected%20traveller%3Cbr/%3Eimghttp://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/muppet/images/thumb/6/6a/Arthur2.jpg/300px-Arthur2.jpg</image> <attributes> <awareness>4</awareness>

<storypoints>12</storypoints> <background> <p>The Chavalier D'Eon was born in France in 1728. Over the years, he acted as a diplomat, a soldier, and a spy. He was well educated and eventually came to be a member of Le Secret du Roi
the King's personal secret espionage service, unknown even to the government. Legend has it he was sent to Russia in 1756 to meet with the Empress Elizabeth, where he stood as one of the maids of honor at her wedding!</p> <p>In 1763 he was named plenipotentary minister to England, and stood as France's interim ambassador until 1764 when a new ambassador was named. During this time he came into possession of secret documents outlining King Louis' plan for a potential invasion of England
something even his government ministers knew nothing about. The new ambassador coming in attempted to humiliate the Chevalier d'Eon rather than simply replacing him, prompting the Chevalier to publish all the secret documents he had regarding his recall. He retained the invasion documents and those pertaining to Le Secret du Roi as 'insurance'.</p> <p>This of course created a tremendous scandal, but the French government could do little except pay him off for his silence. He was granted a considerable annuity as a pension, and continued to act as a spy
but lived in London in exile. He remained there until King Louis XV's death in 1774, when he negotiated his return to France in exchange for his secret documents about le Secret du Roi.</p> <p>However, he also made the claim that he was not physically a man, but a woman, and demanded to be recognized as such by the court of Louis XVI. A betting pool about his gender was begun in London, but the King agreed to these terms on the condition that he dress appropriately in women's clothing. The Chevalier d'Eon agreed and lived out the rest of his life in women's clothing.</p>
<p>From that point, her fortunes declined somewhat. She requested to be allowed to join the War in America in 1777, to fight alongside the American rebels, and was denied. She returned to England in 1785. In 1792 she offered to train and lead a division of women soldiers again the Hapsburg enemies of France and was rebuffed. She was seriously wounded in a fencing tournament in 1796.</p> <p>She died in London in 1810. When doctors examined the body, the Chevalier D'Eon was discovered to be anatomically male. It is speculated that he may have suffered from a condition called Kallmann Syndrome, in which the body never enters puberty.</p> </background> <notes> <p>The Chevalier led such a colorful and exotic life that it would not be unusual to meet him in an aristocratic setting in the late 18th century, nearly anywhere in Europe. He has a sharp mind, and is cool under pressure, despite his eccentricities. He would make an excellent companion for a Time Lord, but would also be a useful ally in the given time frame.</p> <p>Le Chevalier d'Eon does appear in 2 audio adventures in the spin off series Faction Paradox. See 'Sabbath Dei' and 'In the Year of the Cat' for details

I've started converting character (I hope folk don't mind) and have put them up here- www.curufea.com/Wikka/wikka.php?wakka=DWsheetsThere's a few tweaks I'll be doing soon to fix formatting (ie removing dashes for traits with no description, and puting images on either the left or right column, incorporating Areas of Expertise correctly)

Hullo, Curufea, I've started converting character (I hope folk don't mind) and have put them up here- www.curufea.com/Wikka/wikka.php?wakka=DWsheetsThere's a few tweaks I'll be doing soon to fix formatting (ie removing dashes for traits with no description, and puting images on either the left or right column, incorporating Areas of Expertise correctly) I've got no problems with your posting up the characters and material that I create to that set of pages, mate. Looks good so far.

Excellent - thanks! I really should have asked before I did It's a step towards making a machine interface possible. My current plan is to modify the parsing formatter for part of the wiki to produce XML sheets. It's dependent on how C7 and the BBC want to handle fan websites as to when and how (and if) I set up a wiki for DWAITAS. I'd like to do something similar to my Hero Wiki
