Perhaps not the best place to ask such a question, but I am curious. Considering how you have included material from such bare bones EU entries as TV Comic and advertisements, where do you draw the line in what to and what not to include? Mainly thinking down the line when you have aliens/monsters/villains originating from similar bare bones yet more contemporary publications as Doctor Who Adventures and the like.

For me, it's two things: is the monster (or whatever) fun or interesting or different in some way; and is there enough information to be able to fill a page. The former is pretty subjective, so it's the latter that's often the decider. And if there's not really enough info, can the page be padded out in some way - an adventure seed or two, some sidebar text or an additional stats box if it's relevant? The same will apply to stuff from the DWA comic-strips and similar sources. I particularly try to include entries for recurring characters or monsters - in fact the Sidewinder Syndicate from DWA has already been included in the 2nd Doctor volume - so things like Professor Saurian and the Atomon are likely to appear. But one-off villains less so.

I shall continue to look look forward to the release of the next Seventh EU Sourcebook and I hope the writing process is going well.

And for me (as the guy who then does the lay-outs), is there an IMAGE that I can use? That's more or less why I've chosen to do stories from the Annuals, for example.
We try to have at least one entry per full-length novel and audio, but after that (short stories, short audios, comics...) it comes down to making these kinds of choices.
A large par of the next book has been written, and a smaller part laid out. I kind of wrecked my arm doing the first Doc7 book and the Doc4 addendum back to back, so I'm on medical TAKE IT EASY, or else you'd probably have a good third to look at in draft.

Just spotted you're covering Dark Universe in this.
Considering it is technically his first chronological appearance, will the Eleven have an entry in this sourcebook? Or considering the greater role, he will have later on in the Doctor's lifetime are you saving him for one of the Eighth Doctor sourcebooks?

No, it makes more sense to wait and include the Eleven in the 8th Doctor Volume 2. If it's me that writes it, his entry will also cover the Eight, the Nine and the Twelve.

A quick update to say there are some 45 entries left to lay out before the book is done, which is quite close. What a wild and wooley time the New Adventures were...
