There were a number of scripts used for early Galifreyan - including the use of mathematical symbols. They're just as easy to interpret as the modern circular glyphs on postits around the monitor for Tennant, and the rotating head of the column on the new TARDIS interior- i.e. They have no meaning whatsoever. The symbols used are meaningless creations of the art department for the sole purpose of looking good on camera.
The only Galifreyan that can be read, or is anything like a language - is that produced by fans. Fans are interested in the setting and continuity. The writers of the show are not and never have been.
In other words - the name can be interpreted however you like.

Interesting... "My name is... Athree-Yexsquared." "... Doctor it is then, Doctor."
