It happens when such a project such as this one - something is wrong. In this case its the write-up for the Hostile Action Displacement System. This was originally a system which worked as a defense for the TARDIS from outside attacks. It was first featured in the original series story The Krotons, when one of the Krotons finds the TARDIS and attacks it. The Doctor & Zoe watch as the TARDIS appears to be disintergrated, but moments later, reappears high up on a ledge. The Doctor explains to Zoe what happened. It is also implied that it can be easily swiched on and off. The idea of having an internal one is a good one but Iam not sure if this was a mistake or simply overlooked. Sorry

I cannot confirm the source but I read something long ago that does refer to an internal system of preventing hostile action.

I know that the FASA version of the game referred to an Internal Weapon Deactivation System - similar in some respects. All Iam saying here that in a future edtion of this game that HADS also applies to any hostile action from the outside against the TARDIS itself.

Sorry The internal system is mentioned in Earthshock, at the very least. However, it's referred to as 'temporal grace' according to section 51 of this page.

Ive added that to my booksmarks! Thanks! I think the term "temporal grace" goes back to The Hand of Fear when The Doctor explains to Eldrad that his/her powers do not work aboard the TARDIS.

I'll add it's also rather neat that it suggests that this system also affects strong language being used!
