An excellent episode and start to the series but it felt slow in getting going. Can't wait till next week.

I think he may have put in too much for the first ep. It's pushing the "Cry wolf" nature of killing off the main character. How many times can that happen before we view it in a similar way to the Daleks - Just another naf plot by a race that's all bluster and easily defeated the moment the Doctor turns up?
