I have posted a resume of the Doctor Mini-Campaign I ran this weekend at MicroCon in Colorado Springs. The game was written for people who did not know about the WHOniverse... However, almost everyone who played had some knowledge of the series. For the full details, check out my blog jpchapleau.blogspot.com. JP

I took a read through and found it very interesting. Though, the last scenario had me a little...perturbed. I know Obamacare isn't the most popular government decision...but I would never compare it to cyber-conversion. :/

It did catch the attention of the players too. I thought it was a funny spin on something everyone was talking about. Watching the State of the Union and all that BS talk (we know won't happen) about working together and eliminating division just screamed CYBERMEN.
The story wasn't about Obamacare (other than a catalist for cyber-conversion). I try to stay well-clear of politics in the game itself, but have no issue using current issues to segue into a story (whether DW or other games). Obamacar made for an easy and in-your-face transition into the local Survivalist community and why they would not have been converted and fight the government.
Good times were had by all! I may have to do it again!

I'm glad you all had fun. All that matters is that you guys have fun. It's just, if I were in that group I would've felt somewhat oncomfortable. But I wasn't so it doesn't matter. I did find your other scenarios somewhat interesting, though. Good luck on your future games.
