That's pretty good. I'll try and find time to read it in more detail. Thanks for the link.

Is there anything that the members of the forum would like to see in future issues of "The Diary of Doctor Who Role-Playing Games"? We aim to give the public what they want. New issue should be out soon as well. Cheers!

I always like new modules, so more of the same please - except how about an ongoing series of adventures building up into a campaign/season? You could include one or two episodes per issue maybe with linked plot points or characters, which can add an extra depth.
Also, a planetary gazeteer type of article would be interesting - description of a planet or planetary system, key features, indigenous lifeforms, plot hooks, etc. Maybe do this as a regular or semi-regular feature, a planet a month. Or not necessarily planets, but interesting locations - alien cities, ruins, etc that could be used as a source of adventure ideas.
And looking at the time dimension as well as space, how about a series of features each looking at a particular point or event in Earth's history, providing info for GMs to use it as a setting?

Great ideas Mister Harry! Thanks for the feedback.
Issue #12 will feature all of the details of the planet Tlirr, from the old FASA game supplements brought together into one place to help create a campaign setting that a GM can use. In a sense putting all the useful info in one place.
We hope to include such a planetary gazeteer type articles on and off.
The idea of picking a time in Earth's history and looking at it in detail can be interesting as well.
Of course, we will continue to give you plenty of modules that you can use in your campaigns. We love the idea of a season/story arc, so we will put the staff to it and have them work on a series of modules that can be played together in such a manner.
Thanks for the excellent feedback. We'll see what we can do.
Cheers!

Hello all, The newest issue of DDWRPG (Issue #12) has been released. Enjoy! -Zepo This is a great magazine and I don’t mean to nitpick but there are a few discrepancies with the cross-system stats. In regards to multiple stats for three game systems being used: There is a mismatch of difficulty for the same task in two systems: p.p. 7 then In Time Lord RPG the ‘base’ difficulty is 5. This means that it is easier in Time Lord than DWAITAS (TRICKY difficulty) to perform the same task. Errors in conversion between Time Lord and DWAITAS Awareness 3 in Time Lord does not translate to Awareness 2 in DWAITAS. They are the same level: 3. p.p. 22Abslom Daak has Awareness 2 and Presence 1. Again I think this is a simple error of conversion. Once again, I don’t mean any offence. The mag is awesome. -------------------------------------- Useful benchmarks for calculating Presence are: 1 Automaton, drone, robot (Auton, K-9, Pig Slaves) 2 Withdrawn, hypnotized, devoid of personality (Cyber-slaves, Davros, Hoix, Ood) 3 Most people (Micky, Martha, Rose, Sara Jane, Lilith) 4 Larger than life personalities (Doctor 10, Donna, Cassandra, Miss Hartigan, Brother Lassar, Daleks) 5 Really theatrically over the top or impressive (Captain Jack, General Staal, Sycorax leader, Face of Boe, Cyber-Controller 6 Totally intense or captivating (The Gelth) 7 Terrifyingly inhuman (The Wire) (All stats taken from base game and Aliens & Creatures)

Excellent stuff - I especially like the Aliens rules as I have the Leading Edge game and miniatures and this appears to be a slightly simpler, less random portrayal of the movie in comparison

I really liked the parallel Earth IX adventure. Might even use it (when it is my turn to GM). Looking forward to the next issue!

There are some great ideas in the Locations Gazeteer in this issue - I particularly like the entries for Helion and Magmus. Thanks!
