This is a work in progress and will require anyone wanting to use it to: - have access to a colour printer, scissors, a cutting blade of some sort, a ruler, paper glue
- be willing to put together several sheets of paper in a fiddly manner to create a single character sheet.
The generic sheet will be about a centimetre thick and consist of three layers - the back sheet, the workings and the front sheet. User created content for the sheet is in the form of inserted paper pegs (like a child's toy with different shapes) and rotating wheels in the working. Some inserted pegs will be written on. The pegs consist of a front and sides, don't require gluing and have no back. Why this sheet? I like steampunk and papercraft, and the 11th Doctor has a steampunk themed TARDIS. Anyhow, as a start, here are the back and front faces of the attribute wheels. Attributes consist of a peg for total, and a wheel for current score(in case of injury). And already I can see I need to make the numbers easier to read

I've now put together six of them and here's a picture: Attribute wheels by curufea, on Flickr These wheels are for the temporary attributes, I'll do the paper pegs for the permanent attributes next, then the attribute box that houses them all.

It's not structurally very flat though sadly - and with the spacing needed between each attribute, I'm thinking I probably should split it into 6 boxes instead of just one for all attributes.
My current thinking is you make what parts you need for a character - then slot them together.
