That article is from 8 years ago. Indeed. I remember reading about it quite excitedly when the effect was first discovered. Still, it's yet to be shown what caused it which is fascinating. Quite a lot of work was done to try and rule out factors such as leaking fuel which might slow down the craft and people are now seeking another explanation. Suggestions range from interference from unknown gravitational bodies (problematic because we should also observe such effects on the planets that we do know about and we do not) to our theories of gravity needing some further tweaking. One person has come up with a theory that predicts it. Unfortunately (I use the word "unfortunate" in the sense that I personally don't find it unfortunate), his theory is in contradiction to the Big Bang. Lots of fun. Someone once remarked that it's not the experiments that give you the answers you wanted that advance science, but the one's that don't. Article might be eight years old, but the mystery endures.
