...But I just wanted to talk for a quick moment about the GM screen for DWAiTaS. Just got mine recently and I have to say, that I am throughly impressed. The screen is taller than the ones for D&D or SW(darn short screens players look right over them and tell me I'm doing it wrong) It's made of a thicker, sturdier material than most, and the art work and info charts are extremely well done. I simply love it. I know that its just a GM screen to some but to me, to me its just a little piece awesome that just makes the experience all that much better.

Agreed. I use it for all my games now, not just DWAITAS. I just clip appropriate info on those sturdy walls.

There's been a trend towards these gorgeous screens for a few years now. First one I saw of such quality was Hollow Earth Expeditions. Then Changeling: The Lost. I recently found my old Al Qadim GM's screen - 3 panels of flimsy card. How things have changed for the better!

Qin has a gorgeous screen like this as well. I was really impressed with the fact that C7 is keeping to that style.

It put an end to my days of GM screen falling over because I talk with my hands too much. Or in the summer, play with the window open with the wind blowing it down.
So yeah, this should be the new standard.

Its very nice. The only other screen I have that compares in terms of quality (ie heavy cardboard) is my Mongoose Runequest screen.

Its very nice. The only other screen I have that compares in terms of quality (ie heavy cardboard) is my Mongoose Runequest screen. The HEX screen is still the best IMHO. Not only is it incredibly sturdy, filled with useful stuff, and with fab art on the player-side ... It also, unlike the matt finish of DWAITAS and a few others I've seen, has a very light gloss finish that gives it a really nice silky feel that I just don't get quite as much with the others. Sure, tactile sensation probably isn't all that important as an indicator but it's just something I liked. It gives the HEX screen the slightest edge imho. But the DWAITAS screen has recursion, so it's all good

When I got my first one, it was printed so the outside was one way, and the inside was upside down in relation to the outside. I mentioned this to C7, and they promptly sent me out a replacement.. End result: now i have 2! One for me, and one for the players.
Most of the core rules are covered on the screen once you get past character creation, so it's really handy.. A PDF version would be nice for player reference/

...There is a review of the GM screen, as well as the core rules book set and the Aliens and Creatures supplement, on the Game Geeks web site and on their Youtube channel.
