I need "of Rassillon" title for a depository of knowledge to be given to the Time Lord. The Time lord assumes it will be a book or scroll, but really, its a robot who will follow him around, observe everything and generally be underfoot. Think The Recorder in the old issues of Hercules in space.
Ideas?

How about the 'Staff of Rassilon?' They will assume it's a bit like the Rod of Rassilon, but it turns out to be a robot from the library staff, who follows them around going 'Shhhh!' all the time.

Tome - It has a ring that lends itself to the Magician/Mythic Mad Scientist flavor "of Rassilon". Folio - See Above Almanac - Mostly because it's incongruous enough to make me laugh when I imagine a Time Lord saying it. Library - Both for it's paper and programming versions. Trove - Since knowledge in valuable? Arsenal - Since knowledge can be dangerous. Admittedly, this loses some of your desired 'bookish' feel.
Watch out since "Record of Rassilon" pertains to the Great Vampires, while "Scrolls", "Law", and "Book" have artifacts attributed to them. That is, if you were looking to make something new.
On a not unrelated note, I thought the Matrix/APC Net was meant to be "Rassilon's" repository of all Time Lord knowledge. Now, I wouldn't doubt wily old Rassilon had something else for more personal use, so whatever floats your boat. However, we were told that each TARDIS reports back to the Matrix, that it holds the minds of all past Time Lords, and can predict future events fairly well, thus having some form of robot that was an extension, or agent, of the Matrix wouldn't be that odd, either. Just brainstorming.

For Biblical ominousness: The Word Of Rassilon.
The Codex of Rassilon. The Register Of Rassilon. (Although that's a bit alliterative.)

Nice suggestions. This was a character concept that occurred to me last night. I wanted a character who would walk around and record and comment on everything, but not be action oriented. My last character ended up being too much the action hero. I'd built him thinking he'd have little to do in DW since we should be talking and running away. Instead, the GM ran a game in which the action types solved everything and the talkers did nothing. In an effort to help get the game on track, I decided to shelve my action guy and play a talker.
I started with the inspiration of the Recorder from Hercules and the "Ignore me!" robot from Venture Bros, thought of the embedded Bard in JourneyQuest and finally decided that it should be an ancient Time Lord artifact. A friend is referring to it as "Marvin, the paranoid bard-bot."
I think it will be fun.
i appreciate the naming ideas!

i do really like the Word of Rassillon and the Eye of Rassillon. The Eye leads to funny conversational bits like: "I?" "Eye."
and, of course, the requisite, "There is No Eye in Team" episode title :-)

What about the Rassilon Imprimatur? (Yes, it breaks form, but it's still a Rassilon thing)

Yes, there is also, The Book of the Old Time, which was written about Rassilon, and The Worshipful and Ancient Law of Gallifrey, which was either written by or before Rassilon. The latter does depend on how you take Shada, though.
Anyway, that's getting us rather off topic. I very much like your character idea, not least of all because of the sources of inspiration.
